What You’ll Do

As a Tax Consultant on the Global Employer Services team you will support client engagements focused on global compensation, benefits, mobility, and workforce programs. You’ll help clients design tax-aligned workforce strategies and improve operational processes, technologies, and compliance.

  • Support clients with global staffing and operational decisions
  • Analyze tax laws and regulations affecting mobility, talent, and reward programs
  • Assist with program design, compliance processes, and operational improvements
  • Evaluate workforce processes and technologies that support global operations
  • Build client relationships and contribute to project delivery across engagements

Qualifications (Required)

This entry-level opportunity is intended for candidates beginning or building a career in tax, HR, compensation, or consulting.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2027, or hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in economics, human resources, international business, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the assigned office and be able to commute daily if required
  • Expect to co-locate on average 2–3 times per week (may vary by project/client)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment
  • Target start: Summer 2027 / Winter 2028

Preferred

  • Internship, summer, part-time, or other experience in tax, compensation, benefits, HR, finance, or consulting
  • Coursework in tax, accounting, finance, economics, HR, data analytics, or information systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

The Team

Our Global Employer Services team advises multinational clients on tax-aligned compensation and benefits programs for domestic and international workforces. The team focuses on strategies, processes, and technologies that support scale, manage risk, and control costs.


Compensation & Timeline

The disclosed salary range for this role is $54,160 to $99,600 per year. This range reflects factors such as experience, training, certifications, and business needs; geographic differentials may apply. Recruiting for this role ends on 07/31/2026.


Location & Work Model

Location: Tenderloin (San Francisco), CA — you must live within a commutable distance of the assigned office. Typical on-site/co-locate expectation: 2–3 days per week, with variability by project and client.

Travel: Up to 50% on average depending on client work and engagement needs.
