What You’ll Do
Managing taxes is a critical part of an effective business strategy. As a Tax Consultant (entry-level) on the Tax team, you will support client engagements by researching tax laws, analyzing tax implications of transactions and business decisions, and preparing written recommendations and client deliverables.
- Research tax laws, rules, and guidance to support client work.
- Assist with analysis of tax issues, transactions, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare work products and recommendations for client engagements.
- Collaborate with team members to address technical tax matters.
- Manage multiple assignments, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Build client service skills while developing technical tax knowledge.
Qualifications (Required)
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with expected graduation Summer 2027 or Fall 2027, or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Taxation, or a related program.
- Fluent in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
- Strong academic record (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA).
- Must meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of the assigned office prior to beginning full-time employment.
- Reside within a commutable distance of the assigned office and able to commute daily if required (typical co-location average 2–3 days/week).
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average for client work.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Coursework in information systems, data analytics, or tax technology.
- Prior internship, summer role, or school job in accounting, tax, or finance.
- Interest in CPA licensure and experience working in team-based client settings.

Compensation & Additional Details
- This is an entry-level, full-time position intended for candidates beginning or building a career in tax.
- Pay range (estimate): $54,160 — $99,600 per year. Compensation decisions consider experience, certifications, location, and other business factors.
- Start window: Summer 2027 or Winter 2028 (program start dates).
- This role may require on-site presence at the assigned office and travel to client locations.
