Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Tax Consultant to join their Global Employer Services team in Morristown, NJ. This role supports global compensation, benefits, mobility, and workforce programs—helping clients design tax-effective, risk-aware, and cost-conscious talent strategies. What you’ll do
As a Tax Consultant (Global Employer Services), you will:
- Support clients with global staffing and operational decisions
- Analyze tax laws and regulations related to mobility, rewards, and international assignments
- Assist with program design, tax compliance processes, and operational improvements
- Evaluate workforce processes and technologies that support global operations
- Build client relationships and contribute to project delivery across engagements
- Work on cross-functional teams to deliver client-facing recommendations and implementation support
Qualifications
Required
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2027) OR have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in economics, human resources, international business, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- 3.0 cumulative GPA minimum
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs
- Must reside within a commutable distance to the Morristown, NJ office and be able to commute daily if required (co-location expected on average 2–3 times per week)
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Internship, summer, part-time, or other relevant experience in tax, compensation, benefits, HR, finance, or consulting
- Coursework in tax, accounting, finance, economics, HR, data analytics, or information systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a client-facing team

Compensation & additional information
- A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $54,160 to $99,600 per year. This range takes into account multiple factors (experience, skills, location differential, certifications) and may be adjusted per site-specific policy.

- This is a full-time, entry-level opportunity with expected start dates Summer 2027 / Winter 2028.
