What You’ll Do

  • Research tax laws, rules, and guidance to support client engagements.
  • Assist with analysis of tax issues, transactions, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare client deliverables, work papers, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to address technical tax matters and produce quality work products.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Support client service activities across a variety of industries and offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with expected graduation by Summer or Fall 2027, or completed bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
  • Strong academic record (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA).
  • Educational background that meets CPA licensure requirements for the state of your assigned office prior to beginning full-time employment.
  • Ability to reside within a commutable distance of the assigned office and co-locate on average 2–3 times per week (subject to project needs).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average depending on client/project requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams; strong written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or experience in information systems, data analytics, or tax technology.
  • Prior internship, summer position, or school job in accounting, tax, or finance.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Hiring type: Full-time; entry-level opportunity.
  • Wage range: $54,160 — $99,600 per year (reasonable estimate; actual offer depends on experience, skills, licensure, and other factors).
  • Recruiting timeline: recruiting for this role ends on 7/31/2026; expected start date Summer 2026 or Winter 2027.
  • Location: position requires regular presence at the assigned office (co-location averages 2–3 days/week) and ability to commute daily if required.
  • Travel: up to 50% on average depending on assignments.
