What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Tax Consultant to support business tax engagements. You will help evaluate tax impacts of business decisions, address technical tax issues, and work with teams that use technology and data to serve clients.

• Research tax regulations and analyze tax implications based on client facts and business activities
• Prepare recommendations and supporting documentation based on technical tax research
• Use technology and data tools to support tax analysis and client service delivery
• Collaborate with colleagues to address complex tax issues and develop practical, client-focused solutions
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities in both in-person and virtual team environments

Qualifications (Required)

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2027, OR have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Financial Engineering
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard for quality
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships and meet deadlines
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the assigned office and be able to co-locate on average 2–3 times per week as required
• Willingness to travel up to 50% on average based on project and client needs
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Start date: Summer 2027 / Winter 2028

• Coursework in technology, data analytics, or information systems
• Internship, co-op, summer, or school-year work experience in tax, accounting, finance, or audit

• Location: Boston, MA (must be able to commute to the assigned office)
• Employment type: Full-time, permanent (entry-level)

Compensation

• Salary range (estimate): $54,160 to $99,600 per year. The final offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and internal pay practices. This range is a reasonable estimate and may be adjusted for geographic differentials or other lawful factors.
