What You’ll Do
As a Tax Associate with our Confidential Client you will work on client engagements to deliver tax compliance and advisory services. Typical responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate and partnership tax returns to meet compliance requirements
- Supporting development of tax strategies to optimize positions and minimize risk
- Conducting tax research and analysis on domestic and international tax matters
- Collaborating with engagement teams to deliver tailored tax consulting across industries
- Participating in multistate tax compliance and reporting activities
- Assisting with tax provisions, modeling and documentation to support financial reporting
- Helping develop tax structures and planning for international initiatives
- Using data analytics to improve tax compliance, reporting, and efficiency
- Supporting regulatory compliance consulting on evolving tax rules
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in final academic year in Accounting
- Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
- Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state of Texas
- Entry-level / client service associate candidate (recent graduates or students completing final academic year)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity for tax consulting and planning
- Experience or interest in leveraging data analytics and AI to improve processes
- Exposure to international tax planning and multistate tax rules
- Strong collaboration, communication, and client service skills
- Problem-solving orientation and ability to work through ambiguity
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $142,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location and will follow applicable employment laws.
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus (where applicable).
- Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/sick leave — details provided by the confidential client during the hiring process.

- This role requires meeting the CPA educational requirements for the intended state of employment prior to starting full-time.
