Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate for the Summer/Fall 2027 intake. This role is based in International, WA and is ideal for recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates pursuing a career in tax. You’ll work on compliance and consulting engagements across domestic and international tax matters while developing technical skills, client-facing experience, and familiarity with tax technology and data analytics.
What You’ll Do
As a Tax Associate you will support client engagements across tax compliance, consulting, and planning. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns to meet compliance deadlines
- Supporting the design and execution of tax strategies to optimize positions and reduce risk
- Conducting tax research and analysis on domestic and international tax matters
- Collaborating with engagement teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services across industries
- Handling multistate tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Participating in tax provision preparation and tax modeling for financial reporting
- Preparing partnership tax returns and related documentation
- Assisting with international tax planning initiatives and cross-border structuring
- Using data analytics to improve tax compliance, reporting, and insight generation
- Supporting regulatory compliance consulting around complex tax regulations
What You Must Have
To be considered, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment (Washington)
- Entry-level / client service associate candidates are expected to have completed or be in their final academic year

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $142,000 (actual pay within this range depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location; consistent with applicable employment laws)
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
- Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave (specific benefits and eligibility will be provided by the hiring organization)
Location & Work Authorization
- Work location: International, WA (on-site / hybrid arrangements will be communicated by the hiring organization)
- Applicants must meet any state-specific educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam prior to beginning full-time employment in Washington.
