What You’ll Do
This entry-level Tax Associate role supports the delivery of corporate and consulting tax services for a Confidential Client. You will contribute to client engagements while building technical skills in tax compliance, research, and reporting.
- Assist in preparing and filing corporate and partnership tax returns to meet compliance requirements
- Support development of tax strategies to optimize positions and reduce risk
- Conduct domestic and international tax research and analysis
- Assist with multistate tax compliance and reporting
- Participate in preparing tax provisions and financial tax modeling
- Support international tax planning and tax-structure development
- Use data analytics to improve tax compliance and reporting workflows
- Support regulatory compliance consulting across changing tax regimes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients as part of project work
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in final academic year in Accounting (or closely related)
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting a full-time role
- Entry-level / client service associate experience level — appropriate for recent graduates or those completing academic requirements
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred overall GPA of 3.5
- Familiarity or interest in using AI and data analytics to improve tax processes
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in tax consulting and planning
- Experience or coursework in multistate and international tax issues
- Strong teamwork, communication, and client-service orientation
Compensation & Benefits
The posted salary range for this position is $53,500 - $142,000 per year. Actual pay within that range will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, along with applicable employment laws. Eligible hires may receive an annual discretionary bonus.
