What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Talent Acquisition role supporting a mission-focused HR team. You will source, screen, and engage candidates for a variety of roles, working closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to deliver an excellent candidate experience.
- Source and attract qualified candidates via job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
- Screen resumes and applications to assess fit for open roles
- Conduct initial phone/video interviews and coordinate next-stage interviews
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and craft targeted sourcing strategies
- Record and update recruitment activity in the ATS and recruitment tools
- Use basic data and analytics to improve sourcing and selection approaches
- Support onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
- Promote diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university — OR equivalent experience (minimum 4 years of related experience if no degree)
- 0–2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related HR function
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment/crm tools
- Basic understanding of U.S. employment laws and hiring best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high-quality candidate pipeline
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
- Professional representation of the Confidential Client in candidate communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense or other regulated industries
- Exposure to technical recruiting or manufacturing hiring needs
- Experience with Workday ATS and Beamery CRM
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- HR or Talent Acquisition certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS) a plus
- Experience with salary conversations and candidate closing
Essential Functions & Work Environment
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication (phone, email, in-person)
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to travel as required
- This role can be performed in an office or hybrid environment (Sparks, NV)
Estimated salary (source): $80,120 per year — actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
Work Authorization & Background Check
To conform with U.S. Government export and trade regulations and certain client contract requirements, applicants must be one of the following: U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce. Employment may be contingent on background checks or security clearance eligibility where required.
