Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Talent Acquisition Partner I to support corporate recruiting in Sparks, NV (hybrid or in-office). This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for a range of positions across corporate functions. You'll work closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to deliver a high-quality candidate experience while learning recruitment best practices and using ATS/CRM tools.


What You’ll Do

  • Source and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social, and networking.
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess alignment with role requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone/video interviews and coordinate follow-up interview stages.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and shape recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and CRM.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Use recruiting data and basic analytics to refine sourcing and selection.
  • Support onboarding activities to help new hires transition smoothly.
  • Promote and contribute to a diverse and inclusive hiring process.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR 4 years of relevant recruiting/HR experience if no degree.
  • 0–2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related HR role (entry-level).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Basic understanding of U.S. employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Professional representation of Confidential Client to external candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in Aerospace & Defense recruiting or supporting manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Workday ATS and Beamery CRM.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • HR or recruiting certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS).
  • Experience with technical recruiting, salary negotiation, or closing candidates.
  • Demonstrated consultative approach to partnering with hiring managers.

Essential Functions & Work Environment

  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Effective communication by phone, email, and in person.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required.
  • This role is performed in an office or hybrid environment in Sparks, NV.

Security & Eligibility Requirements

To comply with U.S. Government international trade regulations and client contractual obligations, applicants for this role must be one of the following: U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a "protected individual" as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce. Candidates should be prepared to undergo background checks consistent with personnel vetting for roles that may require security clearances.


Compensation & Location

  • Location: Sparks, NV (hybrid or in-office)
  • Estimated salary (source listing): $83,008 per year (estimated). Actual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and site-specific pay practices.
