Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Manhattan, NY. This on-site, contract role (5 days/week) offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting and candidate experience management within a fast-paced financial services environment. Pay: $31–35/hr (+ overtime eligibility).


What You’ll Do

  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts by partnering closely with internal recruiters across business functions.
  • Schedule and coordinate phone, video, and onsite interviews with candidates, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain candidate records and activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Collect and organize interviewer feedback to help drive timely hiring decisions.
  • Prepare offer letters and manage candidate communications through pre-onboarding.
  • Contribute to recruiting and HR initiatives: process documentation, candidate tracking, and survey management.
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience and act as a reliable point of contact during the interview and onboarding journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous internship or full-time experience in a corporate or professional setting.
  • Recruiting or HR experience is a plus but not required — this role is appropriate for early-career HR/recruiting professionals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and strong calendar coordination skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities; comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & benefits

  • Pay: $31–35 per hour (+ compensated overtime as applicable).
  • On-site, Manhattan, NY — 5 days/week (contract, indefinite/ongoing).
