What You’ll Do

You will lead design, development, and implementation of complex PLM solutions using the PTC Windchill platform and related enterprise integrations. This is a hands-on engineering role with architecture and implementation responsibilities.

• Architect end-to-end PLM solutions on PTC Windchill.
• Design and build Windchill customizations and configurations.
• Develop integrations between Windchill and enterprise systems using REST services and other APIs.
• Implement server-side solutions in Java / J2EE and Windchill APIs.
• Administer and support Windchill modules and deployments.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers on Windchill best practices.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and maintainability standards.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Windchill development and customization experience.
• Deep experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and module administration.
• Strong Java / J2EE skills and experience using Windchill APIs.
• Proven experience integrating Windchill with enterprise applications (REST, web services, ETL).
• Experience delivering PLM solutions in product-centric environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Work authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; this role is a W-2 contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or other product-centric industries.
• Experience defining PLM architecture and leading technical design reviews.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment for Windchill solutions.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Employment type: CONTRACTOR (W-2)
• Location: San Jose, CA (Telecommute / TELECOMMUTE)
• Duration: 6+ months
• Pay range: $85 to $90 per hour (W-2)
• Note: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
