Systems Integrator (Entry-Level)

What You’ll Do
This entry-level Systems Integrator will support controls and building-automation projects from design through commissioning and acceptance. You will work with senior integrators and project teams on small-to-large projects, gaining hands-on experience across PLC, HMI/SCADA, and electrical control systems.
- PLC logic design and programming (IEC-61131 languages)
- HMI/SCADA design, configuration, and database work
- Electrical control circuit review and schematic understanding
- Field work: installation, commissioning, site investigations, and FATs
- Implement serial and Ethernet communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET and serial)
- Support proposals, plan/spec reviews, technical memos, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Participate in customer meetings and technical presentations
Who We’re Looking For
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Relevant coursework, academic projects, internships, or co-op experience in controls, automation, embedded systems, or programming
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to travel for field activities and establish an in-office presence in Washington, D.C. or Atlanta, GA
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years PLC programming experience (IEC-61131 languages)
- 2+ years HMI/SCADA and database programming experience
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools
- Networking experience for OT/ICS (0–2+ years)
- Certifications (Inductive Ignition, Rockwell, GE Cimplicity, Wonderware, Moxa, Cisco) are a plus
- Industry experience in data centers, critical environments, or rail is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 80%

- Pay: $80,000–$100,000 per year, DOE
