What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Systems Engineer to support uncrewed land and air systems in Cockeysville, MD. You will work across disciplines to help deliver system requirements, architecture, integration, and test activities.

• Perform requirements analysis to understand customer needs and decompose program requirements
• Develop architecture models and model-based systems engineering artifacts to support requirements derivation
• Use requirements-management and test tools to track and verify requirements
• Support integration and test of system components; develop plans and procedures to verify product integration
• Collect and analyze test data to drive design decisions and verification activities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, software, test) across the product lifecycle
• Communicate technical results clearly in design reviews and test reports

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another physical science
• Familiarity with requirements tools and practices; experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw or equivalent is a plus
• Knowledge or coursework in model-based systems engineering is a plus
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• U.S. citizenship is required and candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance
• Interest in uncrewed systems (land and air) and working in a fast-paced engineering environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $99,000 - $99,000 per year (as provided by the client)
