What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking early-career Systems Engineers to join a 3-year Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Rotation Program within the Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization. This rotational program includes four ~9-month rotations to build systems engineering skills across the product lifecycle and to expose participants to different technical and leadership opportunities across the FBM program.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Translate customer and product requirements into system-level solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition to develop hardware and software specifications.
• Participate in cross-discipline teams and coordinate with mentors to build a personalized rotation plan and long-term assignment within the FBM program.
• Document analyses and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., computer science, applied physics, mathematics).
• 0–4 years of professional experience; open to entry-level and early-career candidates.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Strong interest in systems engineering and systems-level thinking.
• Demonstrated learning agility, solid analytical skills, and clear written and oral communication skills.

• Interest in developing systems engineering subject-matter expertise and program/project leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile processes and JIRA is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a rotational program and adapting to new technical teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation varies by geographic zone. For King of Prussia, PA (GeoZone 2), the full-time salary range listed by the client is:

• $79,300 — $147,300 per year (GeoZone 2)
