What You’ll Do

This onsite, entry-level Systems Engineer I role (Tewksbury, MA) supports testing, integration, verification, and performance analysis for tactical systems in an aerospace & defense environment. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware and software, validate requirements, and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.

• Support testing efforts: develop and execute test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues using data analysis and debugging techniques.
• Drive performance improvements by collaborating across functions to resolve system issues.
• Use modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and operational impact.
• Produce clear technical documentation (integration plans, test reports, requirement traceability).
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar and system performance data to verify requirements.
• Decompose, track, and validate requirements across complex system architectures.
• Support mission execution and testing at customer, vendor, and internal test sites (travel up to 10%).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field completed by the start date.
• Hands-on or academic experience with systems software, hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
• U.S. citizenship is required; active and transferable U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain INTERIM clearance) is required prior to start.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience preparing technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in-field test support for requirements, integration, or verification.
• Familiarity with digital engineering tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or similar).
• Programming or scripting experience (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar).

Additional Details

• Location type: Onsite (primarily based in Tewksbury, MA).
• Security: DoD Secret clearance required (ability to obtain INTERIM clearance prior to start).

• This is a U.S.-based role; eligible benefits and pay depend on location and hiring terms.
• The salary range for this role (good-faith estimate across experience levels): $57,200 — $108,800 USD.
