What You’ll Do
This entry-level Systems Engineer I will join the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team to plan and execute integration and verification test events for mission-critical systems. You will:
- Support planning, setup, execution, and data collection for integration and verification test events onsite in Tewksbury, MA.
- Troubleshoot electronics and instrumentation during lab and field test events.
- Use commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, telemetry capture systems) to diagnose and log system behavior.
- Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB or Python and help automate data collection or reporting.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate software and hardware components and validate interfaces.
- Follow established interface control documentation and contribute to test procedures, test reports, and lessons learned.
Location & Work Type
This role is onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Onsite presence is required for hands-on integration and test activities.
Minimum Qualifications (You Must Have)
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) completed by start date.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic systems in academic, internship, or project settings.
- Familiarity with common electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, telemetry capture tools, etc.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and basic automation.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance and eligibility for DoD Secret. U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with coursework or experience in RF electronics.
- Experience reading electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols.
- Familiarity integrating software routines with hardware; experience with C, C++, or C# a plus.
- Experience capturing and analyzing telemetry or real-time data streams.
- Experience scripting or automating data collection and large data-set processing.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $57,200 - $108,800 USD per year. This range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels; final pay will consider role, experience, location, education/training, and skills.
Security & Hiring Notes
- U.S. citizenship is required due to national security requirements.
- Candidates must be able to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance and meet eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance prior to or shortly after start, as applicable.
- As part of the hiring process, some interview steps may be required in-person at the client’s locations.
