What You’ll Do

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer I to support integration and verification test events. You will contribute to system-level integration, troubleshooting, test execution, and data collection in a hands-on lab and field-test environment.

  • Plan and execute integration and verification tests for complex systems and subsystems
  • Troubleshoot electronics and instrumentation issues during test execution
  • Operate common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, data acquisition systems)
  • Use MATLAB, Python or similar tools for data analysis, automation, and reporting
  • Assist with test documentation, interface control, and test procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware and software components

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (completed by start date)
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics (academic projects, internships, or on-the-job)
  • Familiarity with common lab/test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, DAQ)
  • Experience using tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB or Python for data analysis/automation
  • Ability to obtain interim security clearance prior to start and maintain required clearance (see Location & Clearance)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with coursework in RF electronics
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and interface control documents
  • Experience integrating software routines with hardware (C, C++, C# helpful)
  • Experience with telemetry/data-collection systems and real-time monitoring
  • Experience scripting to automate data collection and analysis for large datasets

Location & Work Type

  • Onsite role in the Tewksbury, MA area (this listing may also align with nearby MA/NH sites as needed).
  • Onsite employees are expected to work primarily at client facilities. Some interview steps may require in-person attendance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required and an active, transferable U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required prior to the start date. DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Interim clearance is required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (good-faith estimate): USD 57,200 — USD 108,800 per year
  • Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, paid time off, and other programs depending on business unit and eligibility.
  • Relocation eligibility may apply.
