What You’ll Do
The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team for our confidential client is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer I to support integration and verification test events. This is an entry-level, onsite role focused on missile defense and related lifecycle engineering activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute system integration and verification test events
- Support test setup, instrumentation, data capture, and troubleshooting during test execution
- Assist in the development and review of Technical Data Packages (drawings, parts lists, electrical schematics)
- Analyze test data and document results, issues, and recommended corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve integration issues
- Maintain test equipment, fixtures, and configuration documentation
- Participate in design reviews and provide testability feedback
Qualifications — Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field completed by the start date
- Demonstrable experience from coursework, projects, internships, co-ops, or on-the-job work in system integration or testing
- Right to work in the U.S.; U.S. citizenship is required for security-clearance eligibility
Qualifications — Preferred
- Internship, co-op, or project-team experience in an engineering environment
- Familiarity with Technical Data Package components (drawings, parts lists, schematics)
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and present technical findings clearly
Location & Clearance
- This is an onsite role supporting confidential client locations in Concord, MA (primary), with possible assignments in nearby MA/NH sites.
- Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start, or the ability to obtain an interim clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year (good-faith estimate covering entry-level through higher experience within the role)
- Eligible applicants may receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement match, paid time off, parental leave, and other programs depending on business unit and employment status
