The Systems Analyst at Confidential Client supports a federal government client by analyzing mission and product requirements to design and document system solutions using engineering principles and technical design tools. What You’ll Do
- Analyze mission and product requirements to design and document system solutions using engineering principles and technical design tools (models, diagrams, specifications).
- Evaluate complex problems by reviewing related information, comparing alternative approaches, and selecting options based on cost/benefit and operational impact.
- Assess how changes in conditions, operations, and environments affect system outcomes and recommend mitigations.
- Apply deductive reasoning and structured pattern/sequence analysis to develop recommendations and support implementation of effective solutions.
- Produce clear technical artifacts and briefings for stakeholders to support decision-making and system implementation.
Key Details
- Work location: On-site in Northern Virginia (Alexandria area).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years (contract contingent).
- Anticipated award / start: September–October 2026.
- Salary range: $150,000 – $250,000 annually (actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding).
Qualifications
- Experience levels accepted:
- Entry Level: 0–2 years of specialized experience
- Journeyman: 2–4 years of specialized experience
- Full Performance: 4–6 years of specialized experience
- Senior Level: 6–8 years of specialized experience
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8–12 years of specialized experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical/scientific discipline preferred.
- Technical / professional credentials: Relevant certifications in programming & development, cloud & infrastructure, architecture & design, networking, or cybersecurity are strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience producing technical diagrams, requirements artifacts, and system specifications.
Security Clearance
- Required: Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years.
