What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Systems Analyst role supporting the Confidential Client’s Epicor Kinetic ERP environment and the business users who rely on it. You will provide day-to-day user support, create and maintain reports, help keep data accurate, test changes before release, and document processes — while learning ERP configuration and integrations across manufacturing, sales, and logistics.
- Respond to and resolve Epicor user support requests; escalate complex issues with clear documentation of observations and tests.
- Build and maintain Business Activity Queries (BAQs), dashboards, and reports to satisfy user requests.
- Perform data maintenance, cleanup, and mass updates using approved tools (for example DMT), with appropriate oversight.
- Monitor scheduled jobs and system integrations; identify failures and report to senior analysts.
- Test configurations, BPMs, customizations, and Epicor updates prior to production release.
- Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
- Train end users on Epicor screens and workflows.
- Collect and document business requirements for enhancement requests.
- Assist with user security, menu access, and account setup.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of relational data concepts (tables, keys, joins) and basic SQL.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleanup).
- Logical, methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and follow through to resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an ERP system (Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, Infor, etc.).
- Exposure to Epicor BAQs, dashboards, or SSRS reporting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, or shipping processes.
- Some exposure to scripting or programming (C#, Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Estimated base salary: $66,543 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time.
