What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain system software for ARM Trusted Firmware stacks (e.g., Hafnium, TF‑A, RMM).
  • Work on next‑generation CPU architectures that power Tegra platforms and other SOCs.
  • Collaborate with upstream open‑source communities to develop software for ARM technologies (Confidential Compute, PSCI, FFA, RMI).
  • Diagnose and solve complex issues around power, performance, and security within the Trusted Firmware stack.
  • Run architectural explorations, feasibility studies, safety evaluations, and CPU performance analyses.
  • Perform bring‑up and development activities for next‑generation Tegra SOC hardware and systems.
  • Implement high‑performance low‑level device drivers and move designs from spec to productization.
  • Participate in design reviews, write clear architecture documents, and deliver production‑quality code.

What We Need To See

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience with embedded systems and device driver development.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++.
  • Solid understanding of OS fundamentals and computer architecture (MMU, cache coherency, TLBs, timers, ISRs).
  • Experience with ARM trusted components, bootloaders, hypervisors, or UEFI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with safety and security standards (ISO 26262, CERT‑C, MISRA‑C) is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering high‑quality software.
  • Experience using agentic AI tools to improve productivity and system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Upstream open‑source contribution experience (TF‑A, Hafnium, Linux kernel, hypervisors).
  • Direct experience with Confidential Compute features and ARM security extensions.
  • Experience with Tegra or comparable SOC platforms.
  • Strong debugging skills on hardware bring‑up (JTAG, trace, low‑level instrumentation).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (dependent on level, location, and experience):
    • Level 2: 124,000 USD – 195,500 USD (base)
    • Level 3: 152,000 USD – 241,500 USD (base)
  • Eligible for equity and benefits (details provided by our client).
  • Applications accepted at least until 2026-08-22.
