What You’ll Do
This is a hybrid/remote Support Services Technician role supporting a Confidential Client in the IT industry. After an initial 6–8 week in-office training period in Kansas City, you will work remotely to provide first- and second-level technical support for internal end users.
- Provide phone, chat and email support for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and deploy Windows 11 workstations and Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad).
- Support Microsoft 365 (Office 365) applications and Outlook troubleshooting.
- Use ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred) to document work and track incidents.
- Handle Active Directory tasks such as password resets and group assignments.
- Troubleshoot VPN connection issues, network drive access, and remote connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network printers and multifunction devices.
- Support mobile devices (iOS and Android) and assist with remote support tools.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians and follow documented procedures.
- Maintain professional customer service and clear documentation of technical processes.
Qualifications (Required)
- 1–2 years of break/fix desktop support experience in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/Windows 11 workstation support and deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow experience is a plus).
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (user/computer management, password resets).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical issues for non-technical users.
- Customer-service oriented with the ability to ask logical diagnostic questions and follow processes to resolution.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Nice-to-Have
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Apple) are beneficial.
- Experience with SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager), Okta, or other identity providers.
- Previous MacOS and iOS troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting network printers and multifunction devices.
Workplace, Schedule & Employment Type
This role is a contract position based in Kansas City, KS with a hybrid schedule: 6–8 weeks of in-office training followed by remote work. Employment type: FULL_TIME (contract). The client expects the technician to be available for standard business hours; specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.

- Pay range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour.
