Overview
Join a Confidential Client in the Logistics & Warehouse industry supporting healthcare facilities in New York, NY. The Supply & Facility Operations Coordinator ensures clinical and administrative units remain fully stocked, compliant, and operational by managing inventory, coordinating supply distribution, and partnering with facilities and vendor teams.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor stock levels across clinical floors, patient rooms, labs, and supply closets, and place timely reorders.
- Use inventory systems (e.g., Helios or similar) to track usage, anticipate shortages, and manage backorders.
- Track fast-moving items and coordinate overstock returns when needed.
- Recommend alternative products when appropriate to avoid service interruptions.
- Deliver and restock supplies, linens, procedure carts, and required FDA‑approved items to assigned areas.
- Rotate inventory during restocking to preserve safety and compliance standards.
- Safely enter patient care areas to replenish supplies while maintaining professional, courteous interactions.
- Coordinate with Plant Operations, Facilities Management, Environmental Services, and Safety teams to keep facility areas clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
- Serve as a liaison with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve supply and facility issues quickly and cost‑effectively.
- Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize par levels and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in healthcare supply, logistics, inventory control, or a related environment preferred; entry‑level applicants with relevant aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using digital inventory systems.
- Ability to work in varied conditions, including potential exposure to cold storage (e.g., Food & Nutrition areas).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and effective communication skills.
Preferred / Helpful Experience
- Experience with inventory management platforms (Helios or similar).
- Background in healthcare operations, materials management, or supply chain support.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with clinical and facilities teams.
Compensation & Location
- Estimated pay: $40,784 per year (estimated).
- Work location: New York, NY — on-site role supporting healthcare facility operations.
