What You’ll Do

Support the selling function and carry out a variety of tasks and functions to maintain efficient, profitable day‑to‑day operations for the product line. Responsibilities include:

  • Learn all aspects of the assigned product line or repair group and serve as a technical resource.
  • Drive and manage vendor relationships; act as the primary contact for the confidential client.
  • Support outside sales teams and help maximize sales and margin objectives.
  • Expand traditional business and identify purchase opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage inventory for assigned product lines.
  • Identify inventory acquisition opportunities and track market trends; coordinate with sales to pursue growth areas.
  • Support new product development initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Some travel may be required.

Location & Relocation

This position is based at the confidential client’s Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart (Chicago) in early 2027.


What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Basic negotiating and customer‑support skills.
  • Ability to articulate business opportunities and compose professional communications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, technically oriented environment.
  • PC literate: Word, Excel, Access.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; OR four years related experience/training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. This role is eligible for a bonus.
