What You’ll Do

This entry-level Supply Chain Planning Analyst role supports supply chain operations, inventory and MRP analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives at a confidential client in Lafayette, IN. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory, improve lead times, and support replenishment and warehouse capacity efforts — developing the core skills needed to progress into coordinator roles (MRC Coordinator, RSSM Coordinator) within 1–3 years.

  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics planning analysts (LPAs), and manufacturing teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
  • Support development and execution of supply chain strategies that improve service levels and operational performance.
  • Drive inventory and warehouse optimization projects to improve capacity utilization, inventory turns, and material flow.
  • Analyze inventory trends and recommend disposition or replenishment actions to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
  • Support lead-time rationalization and alignment of system parameters to supplier lead times and demand.
  • Help lead teams to design and implement pull replenishment strategies as part of Lean initiatives.
  • Generate and support contract / purchase order activities and cost/price analyses as required.

Who We’re Looking For

Degree and experience:

  • Must have graduated from an accredited university with a 4-year degree or higher within the last TWO years, or have a future graduation date by May 2027.
  • Target degrees: Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing / Operations, or related disciplines.

Skills and competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Foundational understanding of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory management, and material flow.
  • Basic decision-making and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Familiarity or coursework in demand management, bills of materials, and production planning is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred background:

  • Internship or coursework in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.

Compensation & Employment Details

  • Employment type: PART_TIME
  • Summary pay range: $81,370.00 - $122,060.00 per year
  • This position is onsite five days per week in Lafayette, IN.
  • Relocation assistance is available.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon successful completion of a drug screen.
