Position overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join a PATHWAYS rotational program in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time, early-career role with three rotations across supply chain functions (examples: procurement, program planning, supplier quality). The program focuses on hands-on learning, mentorship, and career development in a mission-focused global supply chain organization.
What You’ll Do
You will rotate through supply chain teams and gain practical experience in core activities such as procurement, program planning, supplier coordination, and process improvement.
- Participate in three rotational assignments across global supply chain functions.
- Support creation and release of purchase orders (SMAT) using SAP.
- Assist with Requests for Quotation (RFQs), supplier quote reviews, and basic price analysis.
- Manage procurement documentation and eFile systems.
- Use Ariba and supplier onboarding tools under guidance.
- Support program planning activities: create requisitions (M903/M922), track KPIs, and support CAMs.
- Act as supplier lead for non-category management suppliers during rotations: expediting, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Support smaller proposals and build basic BOEs; participate in continuous improvement projects.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria:
- Be completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
- Major or have majored in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
- Be able to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable period, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- Internship, co-op, or other relevant work experience; demonstrated teamwork and leadership.
- Exposure to or experience with SAP, Ariba, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables/formulas, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,200 to $90,200 per year (reported by source).
- Relocation assistance may be available.

Location & Clearance
- Location: Baltimore, MD (on-site).
- Travel: approximately 10% (as noted).
