What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Data Analyst to support logistics and transportation analytics. You'll turn operational and freight data into clear, actionable insights that improve carrier performance, lower transportation cost, and support cross-functional decisions.

• Analyze large logistics and transportation datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers
• Build and maintain reports, interactive dashboards, and KPI scorecards to track carrier performance, transit metrics, capacity, and service levels
• Perform freight-spend analysis and cost modeling to support procurement and network decisions
• Work with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other source systems to extract, clean, and validate data
• Translate analytical findings into concise recommendations and communicate results to operations, procurement, and carrier partners
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process mapping and operational excellence projects
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses and support month-end reporting as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations (entry-level considered)
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Experience creating reports and dashboards to support business decisions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and communication skills
• Ability to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain analytics
• Advanced SQL and Power BI (or Tableau) experience is a plus
• Experience analyzing freight spend, carrier performance, transportation costs, capacity, or transit metrics
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and data integration from TMS platforms
• Background in process mapping, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methods
• Experience working with domestic and/or international transportation data
• Experience collaborating with carriers, logistics providers, procurement, and operations teams
• Spanish language skills are a plus

• SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and visualization
• Familiarity with TMS tools and freight datasets
• Data cleaning, validation, and basic automation (VBA, Python, or ETL experience helpful)
• Clear written and verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
