Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Analyst to support production planning and material availability for a technical product line. This role works closely with manufacturing and purchasing teams to maintain MRP data integrity, support inventory planning, manage vendor interactions, and report on forecasts and delinquencies. This is a hands-on role that provides strong exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes and opportunities for growth within engineering and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Champion integrity of purchase order and item master data
• Maintain and validate data in the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
• Control and take accountability for planning functions for a technical product line
• Maintain safety-stock levels and monitor inventory to support scheduled production
• Report shipping forecasts, delinquency targets and any supply risks
• Coordinate purchasing activities across departments to maintain inventory flow
• Contact suppliers to resolve adjustments, incorrect materials, or delivery issues
• Track and support vendor on-time delivery performance
• Negotiate pricing in support of cost-estimating targets
• Identify and implement process improvements and paperless/electronic solutions
• Interact with personnel across functions and levels; perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Proficiency with computer systems including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Aptitude for planning, negotiating and purchasing materials
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and accountability

• Estimated salary: $66,823 per year (estimated)
