What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level, full-time Supply Chain Analyst role supporting day-to-day supply chain operations for a confidential client in the Logistics & Warehouse industry. You’ll work across inventory, procurement, planning, and logistics to help optimize flow, reduce cost, and improve on-time delivery.
- Analyze supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and logistics data to identify trends and issues.
- Monitor inventory levels, orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Assist with demand forecasting and supply planning activities.
- Support procurement and vendor management tasks, including tracking purchase orders.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and support resolution.
- Prepare reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Track and analyze supply chain KPIs (inventory turnover, lead time, fill rate, on-time delivery).
- Assist with ERP system support and data updates.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, operations, and finance teams.
- Participate in process-improvement and supply chain optimization projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts: inventory management, procurement, logistics, and demand planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Comfortable working with large datasets and producing clear reports.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
- Basic SQL skills for data querying.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods.
- Exposure to warehouse and transportation operations and vendor management processes.
Compensation & Location
- Estimated pay: $74,383 per year (estimated).
- Location: Five Corners, NJ — this role is expected to be onsite or hybrid as required by the confidential client (confirm at interview).
