What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level, full-time Supplier Quality Engineer role supporting a confidential client’s engineering/manufacturing operations in Texas. You will help ensure supplier-produced hardware meets quality, reliability and manufacturing readiness standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, procurement, test) to support successful execution of manufacturing activities.
- Support incoming quality inspections and supplier quality performance monitoring.
- Participate in root cause failure analysis and fault isolation activities within hardware systems.
- Collect and analyze basic production and quality data; prepare clear reports and recommendations.
- Work hands-on in a manufacturing environment as needed and be willing to support overtime when production demands require it.
- Support corrective action plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders to close quality issues.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from a U.S. university (Master’s preferred).
- Entry-level candidates welcome; internships or prior experience in hardware manufacturing, compute systems, servers, consumer electronics, or in contract manufacturers is a plus.
- Strong learning capability, attention to detail, and clear verbal/written communication skills.
- Comfortable with office tools and basic data analysis (Excel or similar).
- Technical curiosity and willingness to take a hands-on role in investigations.
- Language skills: Mandarin preferred; Vietnamese a plus (not required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or interest in Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and fault isolation in hardware systems.
- Familiarity with supplier quality processes, APQP/PPAP fundamentals, and corrective action workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Location
- Employment type: Full-time, entry-level.
- Estimated pay (as listed in source): $68,717 per year (estimated).
- Location: Texas — role will require on-site or near-site work at manufacturing facilities in the region.
