Role Overview

Confidential Client (Engineering) is hiring an entry-level Supplier Quality Engineer in Palo Alto, CA. This hands-on role supports supplier and manufacturing quality activities at Bay Area manufacturing facilities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable production, support root-cause analysis, and help drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing activities
• Support incoming inspection, supplier quality audits, and day-to-day supplier communications
• Assist with Fault Isolation and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for hardware systems
• Track corrective actions, verify effectiveness, and document quality records
• Use office productivity and basic data analysis tools to summarize findings and drive decisions
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support OT / after-hours production needs when required

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (or equivalent) from an accredited U.S. university; Master's preferred
• Strong learning capability and effective written/verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site at Bay Area manufacturing facilities and occasionally work overtime
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or experience with compute systems, servers, consumer electronics, or hardware manufacturing in a contract manufacturer environment
• Experience or interest in Root Cause Failure Analysis and fault isolation in hardware systems
• Mandarin Chinese preferred; Vietnamese a plus
• Familiarity with basic data analysis tools and common office software

• Employment type: Full-time
• Estimated compensation: $79,623 per year (estimated)
• Schedule: Standard onsite manufacturing schedule; some OT possible
