Role Summary
Confidential Client is hiring a Supervisor — Dock (D Shift) to lead a small team of production associates in warehouse operations at the Lockbourne, OH site (225 Rathmell Rd). This full-time, entry-level leadership role oversees loading/unloading freight, inventory cycle counts, material replenishment, and the assembly/installation of server racks and components. The role follows a split weekend and weekday shift pattern (Thu–Fri mornings and Sat–Sun extended shifts).
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coach production associates performing loading/unloading, packing, staging, and related dock activities
- Coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishment, and material returns to maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor performance, inspect work areas for quality and safety, and enforce site policies and procedures
- Use multiple internal and external systems/dashboards for tracking, accountability, and process compliance
- Advise and support team members on troubleshooting work tasks and on-the-job problems
- Recommend and implement procedural improvements to increase safety, quality, and efficiency
- Perform or assist with hands-on duties as required to meet operational goals and service levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Generally prefer 3–6 years’ experience in material handling or warehouse operations; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and basic analytical skills
- Comfortable using multiple software systems and inventory/warehouse dashboards
- Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures and to lead by example
- Must be able to pass federal/state/local/company-required background checks, clearances, and drug & alcohol tests
Schedule
- Typical schedule: Thursday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (hours as listed in the original posting)
- Candidates should be available for the listed shifts and occasional schedule flexibility as business needs require
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $72,500 – $75,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
- Benefits information varies by location and division and will be provided by the hiring organization during the process.
- The employer may require background checks and drug/alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
Working Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse/dock environment with regular exposure to moving equipment and physical work
