What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is recruiting a Summer Scholar — Cyber Analytics to join its Government & Public Services practice. This is an entry-level, hands-on consulting internship where you will turn data into actionable insights to support cyber-related initiatives across public-sector clients.
- Support research, data collection, cleaning, and management to enable data-driven decisions
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses (statistics, exploratory analysis, basic modeling)
- Translate analytical results into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings and next steps
- Contribute to project workstreams, support deliverable preparation, and help lead small tasks or sub-projects
- Collaborate with teammates across strategy, operations, and technology disciplines
- Learn and apply cyber-focused domain knowledge to analytical problems
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2028 with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% as required by client work
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- Reside within a commutable distance (example: ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required
Preferred:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in analytics, data science, computer science, statistics, or related fields
- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, Excel) or visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) — helpful but not required

You will work within the Government & Public Services practice supporting agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and public-sector programs. Compensation & Schedule
- This is a full-time, paid Summer Scholar position.
- A reasonable wage estimate provided by the source is $38/hour.
