What You’ll Do

As a Summer 2027 Software Engineer Intern you'll work on real product and platform projects that deliver value to customers and internal teams. You'll receive mentorship from experienced engineers and contribute to code, design, and testing across the stack. Typical responsibilities include:

• Contribute to feature development, bug fixes, and code reviews for production systems
• Apply object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms to implement efficient solutions
• Experiment with and integrate AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to deliver high-quality work
• Use telemetry and metrics to identify issues and drive operational improvements
• Participate in onboarding, training sessions, and group learning opportunities

Qualifications

You should have:

• Current enrollment in a BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Plans to return to school after Summer 2027 to complete your degree
• Enrollment at a college or university in North America
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures
• Practical coding experience and ability to write, test, and debug code
• Experience with or strong curiosity about AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
• An AI-first mindset: comfortable experimenting with prompts and integrating AI to accelerate learning and development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Even Better If...

• You have experience reviewing and refining code generated by large language model coding assistants
• Familiarity with Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, or other agent frameworks
• Coursework or practical experience with SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, or related frameworks
• Working knowledge of HTML, front-end and back-end languages, or full-stack projects
• Experience using telemetry and metrics to improve reliability and performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality results
• Self-motivated with the ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies

Compensation & Employment Type

• Employment type: Full-time internship (fixed-term / temporary)
• Location: New York, NY (onsite or location-specific per client requirements)
• Base pay range (reported by client): $43 - $52 per hour. This range represents base salary only and does not include any additional incentives, equity, or benefits.
