What You’ll Do

As a Student Associate on the Healthcare Consulting team you’ll support client engagements across financial, operational, and compliance projects. Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist with preparation and review of annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
• Support data collection, validation, and analysis using Excel and other tools
• Participate in client deliverables under supervision of senior staff
• Rotate across healthcare consulting sub-teams to gain broad exposure
• Document findings, prepare workpapers, and help draft client communications
• Learn and apply technical concepts from experienced team members

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

We’re looking for students who are eager to learn and can balance academics with client work:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, or related preferred)
• Highly detail-oriented with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Commitment to client service and maintaining confidentiality
• Strong organization and time-management skills; able to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Interest in data analytics and AI tools is a plus
• CPA exam eligibility is not required

Hours & Schedule

• Part-time role (PART_TIME)
• Flexible around academic schedules, but candidates should:
  • Accommodate normal business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Commit to approximately 20–24 hours per week during the academic year

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated pay: $62,593 per year (estimated figure shown on source posting)
