What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Structural Engineering New Graduate to join an office in Enterprise, NV. This entry-level role provides hands-on design and analysis experience, mentorship, and a clear path to professional licensure while supporting commercial and institutional projects.

  • Assist in the design and analysis of building structural systems (steel, concrete, wood, masonry).
  • Develop detailed designs, specifications, and calculations using structural analysis and design software.
  • Support project teams from concept through construction: design development, construction documents, submittal reviews, and site observations.
  • Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Help maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation of design decisions.
  • Perform low- to medium-complexity analyses and collaborate with senior engineers to produce practical solutions.
  • Contribute to quality control reviews and ensure compliance with codes and industry standards.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; contribute to research and innovation initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (architects, project managers, and engineers).
  • Prioritize safety and professional, ethical conduct on every project.

What You’ll Bring

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent).

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of structural design principles and common materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry).
  • Strong technical and analytical skills related to structural mechanics and material behavior.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
  • Basic experience with BIM tools.
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage details.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and travel up to 5% (occasional overnight stays).

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree (MS) in Structural Engineering.
  • Prior internship experience in building design consulting.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.

Compensation & Benefits

  • State of Nevada salary range (for Enterprise, NV): $74,000 – $79,000 per year.
  • Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and employee ownership programs where applicable.
  • Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan options, paid time off, professional development support, and mentoring programs. Exact benefits and final compensation will be determined by our client based on experience and other job-related factors.
