Position Overview

This is an entry-level Structural Drafter / Revit Technician role supporting a confidential client’s structural engineering and architectural teams in Lansing, MI. The role focuses on creating and updating construction drawings for commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects using Revit and AutoCAD. This position is fully onsite and is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with hands-on mentorship and strong growth potential.

What You’ll Do

• Create and revise construction drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Incorporate redlines, markups, and design revisions into project drawings
• Help develop floor plans, foundation plans, sections, details, and structural drawings
• Maintain organized project files and follow drafting standards
• Support drawing reviews and quality checks prior to delivery
• Assist engineers and architects with project drafting tasks and drawing updates
• Participate in project coordination with engineering and architectural teams

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Revit (class projects, internships, or professional experience)
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge
• Familiarity with construction drawings and drafting principles
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting, or a related field
• Internship or coursework involving Revit and construction documentation
• Exposure to structural, architectural, or construction projects
• Interest in structural engineering and design

• This role is fully onsite in Lansing, MI (confidential client’s office)
• Work closely with a small team of Structural Engineers, Architects, and Designers

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour (range provided by confidential client)
