About the Role

This is a contract opportunity (1 year+), first shift, for an entry-level Structural Design Engineer supporting an airframe structural design organization. You will help maintain engineering methods, knowledge management systems, and digital tools that enable engineers to access information, share knowledge, and execute work efficiently. US Citizen or Green Card holder required.

What You’ll Do

• Support administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and other collaboration tools
• Collect, organize, analyze, and present data to support departmental reporting and decision-making
• Assist in development and upkeep of reports, dashboards, metrics, and visualizations
• Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, training materials, and knowledge repositories
• Support document review, publication, revision control, and information governance activities
• Contribute to knowledge management initiatives to improve information accessibility and reuse
• Assist with workflow improvements and automation using approved business tools
• Provide user support and training for departmental methods, tools, and knowledge resources
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Prepare presentations, status reports, and metrics summaries for leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• US Citizen or Green Card holder required
• Intended for recent graduates beginning their professional career
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering (with CS minor) or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in technology, data management, and process improvement

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneNote, or similar collaboration platforms
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, or visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Exposure to workflow automation tools (Power Automate or equivalent)
• Experience writing procedures, technical documentation, or training materials
• Internship, co-op, undergraduate research, student leadership, or project experience involving data analysis, software tools, or process improvement
• Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or other technical environments
