What You’ll Do

Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Structural Design Engineer to contribute to technically challenging building projects. You will work within a small, collaborative Orlando team while drawing on firm-wide resources and mentorship.

  • Perform structural design for steel, concrete, and wood systems
  • Analyze structures for unique loading demands (high wind, seismic, vibration, flood, hurricane) using advanced analysis and specialty detailing
  • Build and refine 3D finite-element models to support efficient, accurate design
  • Coordinate and develop 3D Revit models for design coordination and documentation
  • Work alongside senior engineers and principals who provide hands-on mentorship and technical review
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and team members across early design through construction phases
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of project types and increasing responsibility based on experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structures focus)
  • 0–5 years of structural engineering experience (entry-level to early-career)
  • Strong fundamentals in structural analysis and design for common building systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Motivated to learn, collaborate, and pursue professional growth (PE/SE track)

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
  • Experience with RAM, ETABS, SAP or similar structural-analysis tools
  • Revit or AutoCAD experience and BIM coordination knowledge
  • Prior exposure to steel, concrete, or wood design in a professional setting
