About the Role

As a Structural Analysis Engineer I (Stress Analysis) you will begin your engineering career contributing to the design, analysis, and solution development for structural systems at our confidential client. This entry-level position provides hands-on learning with senior engineers while focusing on ensuring structural integrity for aerospace structures by evaluating stresses, loads, deformations, and helping optimize component designs to meet aerospace standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform stress, load, and deformation analyses to confirm structural integrity and margins of safety.
  • Build, run, and validate finite element models (FEA) and other analysis tools; interpret and document results.
  • Work with design engineers to recommend changes for weight, performance, or manufacturability.
  • Apply relevant engineering standards and technical principles to routine engineering problems.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and analysis summaries.
  • Participate in design reviews and team meetings; follow direction from senior engineers and contribute to project goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering, or related field — or equivalent work experience.
  • Entry-level: 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of structural analysis principles.
  • Ability to apply technical standards, theories, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and follow guidance from senior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with finite element methods and engineering CAE tools (e.g., Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, or similar).
  • Familiarity with aerospace structural standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrated interest in aerospace systems and structural design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic engineering environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $77,234.00 - $106,196.75 per year.
  • Actual base pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market factors.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, paid time off (including 3 weeks PTO), and professional development opportunities.

Location & Work Authorization

  • Location: Louisville, CO.
  • This position is based in the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. or able to obtain required authorization in a lawful manner.
