Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Strategic Partner, Junior (Business Analyst I) to support and grow strategic partner relationships. This hybrid role (Lincolnshire, IL — 3 days/week on-site) focuses on data-driven insights, stakeholder-facing reporting, and building dashboards that enable partner programs and product decisions. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing and Legal teams and report to senior analysts and partner leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design reports and analyze data from one or more systems to meet stakeholder specifications
  • Diagnose root causes for quality or performance issues and present findings and recommendations to senior staff
  • Maintain and validate data quality and governance in assigned systems
  • Build and maintain dashboards using BI/data visualization tools with existing data models
  • Support data transformation workflows (e.g., Databricks) and run prebuilt queries under supervision
  • Perform basic analyses to support strategic partner initiatives and executive requests
  • Participate in cross-functional workshops and support initiative planning
  • Communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree — or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Basic experience reading and interpreting SQL queries
  • Familiarity with BI/data visualization platforms (tableau/powerbi or similar)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or relevant experience with partner programs or product analytics
  • Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., Databricks) and modern data stacks
  • Comfortable synthesizing complex data into clear themes, stories, and recommendations
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and presentation experience
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn business context and influence stakeholders

Location, Schedule & Travel

  • Hybrid position based in Lincolnshire, IL — 3 days per week in office required
  • Up to 10% travel may be required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $61,040 — $91,560 annual
  • Incentive: target annual cash incentive equal to ~5% of base pay (performance-based)
