What You’ll Do

This on-site, full-time role supports classified national security space operations. Working under senior STO personnel, you will assist with compartmented mission activities, operational reporting, and mission product preparation that support situational awareness and decision-making.

  • Support compartmented Special Technical Operations (STO) mission activities under established procedures and guidance
  • Assist with development, review, and dissemination of operational reports, briefings, and mission products
  • Monitor mission activities and contribute to situational awareness for STO operations
  • Support coordination with mission operations centers and Intelligence Community partners
  • Maintain strict compliance with security protocols, including handling highly classified materials
  • Identify operational issues, report anomalies, and document mission impacts
  • Participate in operational exercises, training events, and readiness activities
  • Support data collection and documentation for system performance and mission assessments

Who You Are (Required Qualifications)

Candidates must meet at least one of the experience/education options below and have the clearance and operational experience required to work in compartmented environments.

  • Entry-level experience options:
    • Master’s degree + 1+ year relevant experience, or
    • Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years relevant experience, or
    • No degree + 4+ years relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph
  • Experience supporting classified operations, intelligence production, or technical mission environments
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense or Intelligence Community operational processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for operational reporting and briefings
  • Ability to work on-site at a government facility and pass all required security screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to space operations, space systems, or satellite mission environments
  • Academic or professional background in intelligence analysis, engineering, or space systems
  • Familiarity with secure reporting systems or classified operational tools
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow strict operational procedures

Location & Clearance

  • Work location: On-site at a government facility in North Springfield, VA (this listing is for North Springfield, VA)
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph required prior to start
  • This is a contingent role based on contract award

Compensation & Additional Details

  • Basic Compensation: $85,900 - $105,000 (range provided for the Virginia area)
  • Additional Compensation: May include bonuses, sign-on, relocation, short-term or long-term incentives depending on position and contract terms
  • The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and internal parity with our client’s compensation practices
