What You’ll Do
This Staff Nurse role supports outpatient clinical operations for a confidential client in Manhattan, NY. Under supervision, you will coordinate clinical care, provide direct patient services, and support practice operations.
- Monitors expiration dates and maintains inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and reagents.
- Triages patient inquiries and communicates test results in a timely, professional manner.
- Provides in-office patient care including patient histories, vital signs, venipuncture, specimen collection, vaccine/medication administration, and patient education.
- Schedules tests and procedures; calls prescriptions into pharmacies as needed.
- Records diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and doctors’ orders accurately in patient charts.
- Evaluates patients in emergency situations and administers appropriate care or medications.
- Develops and updates individualized plans of care; coordinates patient follow-up and discharge planning.
- Recommends and implements procedural improvements to support efficient, high-quality care.
- Participates in unit-based in-service and continuing education to maintain clinical competence.
Qualifications
- Education:

- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Experience:

- Up to 2 years of post-degree coursework and/or internship experience may be considered; less than one year of previous experience may be acceptable.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and maintain accurate records.

- Licenses & Certifications:

- Current New York State Registered Nurse license & registration.

- BLS Certification (American Heart Association).

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary range (NYC): $98,300 — $102,600 per year. This range is provided in compliance with local pay transparency rules and reflects the pay when hired for NYC offices.
- Weekly hours: 35.0 (typical).
- Work days: Monday–Friday.
- Employment types: Full-time; may be listed as Contractor depending on role specifics.
Location & Working Conditions
- Job location: Manhattan, NY (on-site clinical setting).
- Working conditions: Standard clinical/office environment; patient-facing duties requiring standing, walking, and routine clinical physical activity.
