Confidential Client is hiring a full-time Staff Engineer to join their Crabtree Valley, NC team. This entry-level structural engineering role focuses on designing structural systems for a variety of project types including manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, historical, public sector, adaptive reuse, and renovation work.

What You’ll Do

• Perform analysis of existing structures and structural components.
• Develop drawings and specifications used during construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, design technicians, architects, contractors, and clients.
• Attend client, architect, and contractor meetings; support business development activities as you gain experience.
• Perform engineering calculations following design specifications and industry standards.
• Use structural design software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, RAM Structural Systems, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and RISA.
• Prepare and review drawings, submittals, and structural documents to meet quality standards.
• Share information across disciplines to confirm deliverables meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT preferred.
• BIM training or practical experience is a plus.
