What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Staff Civil Engineer to support planning, design, and permitting for land development and infrastructure projects in Denver, CO. This role provides hands-on experience in site/civil engineering for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential projects, higher education, federal work, and other land development assignments.
- Assist with planning, design, and permitting for civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and revise engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and cost estimates
- Use engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) to develop design plans
- Analyze maps, plans, test reports, and aerial photos to evaluate soils, terrain, hydrology, and topography
- Recommend process improvements and contribute practical engineering ideas
- Apply engineering principles and mathematics to support project design and execution
- Collaborate with project teams and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1+ years of relevant experience in site/civil design
- EIT certification or current registration for the FE exam
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (per source posting)
- Experience with site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and erosion control
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or similar design software)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability Monday–Friday with occasional evenings/weekends as project needs require
- Travel as required by project assignments
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range (posted): $68,250 - $93,000 USD per year (Colorado pay-range provided in source)
- Employment type: Contract, Full time
