What You’ll Do

This on-site Staff Accountant role supports day-to-day loan accounting and financial reporting for a confidential client operating in commercial real estate / mortgage lending. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with preparation of daily journal entries for the loan accounting department
• Reconcile daily loans, financing transactions, cash and debt accounts
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and help maintain monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Respond to internal and external audit requests and support audit documentation
• Work with business users and technology teams to identify, document, and implement sustainable accounting solutions
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and process exceptions
• Perform related duties as assigned to maintain adequate accounting controls

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct or Intacct is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Must be able to work on-site in Textile Finance, CA

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience in loan accounting, mortgage lending or loan servicing
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to document processes clearly

Compensation & Employment Details

• Employment type: FULL_TIME
• Pay range: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour (range provided by employer)
• Location: On-site in Textile Finance, CA
