What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Staff Accountant (New Grads) to join their finance team in Lake Dallas, TX. This is a hands-on role with direct mentorship from experienced accounting leaders — a strong first step for recent graduates launching an accounting career.
- Prepare reconciliations for multiple banking accounts
- Prepare and post standard and recurring journal entries
- Complete account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
- Assist in the month-end close process
- Review accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance
- Support special projects and ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
- GPA 3.0+ preferred
- 0–1 years of accounting experience (internships count) — entry-level/new grad candidates encouraged
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, v-lookups, basic pivot tables)
- Attention to detail and a desire to learn accounting best practices and month-end procedures
Compensation & Employment Details
- Base salary: $60,000 — $65,000 per year (plus bonus potential)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work location: Lake Dallas, TX (on-site)
