What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting team in Centennial, CO. This role supports month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial records.

• Prepare balance sheets and monthly/annual financial reports for management review
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
• Record and review day-to-day transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Track billing and revenue data in financial systems and produce internal revenue reports
• Work with bookkeepers, auditors, and accounting clerks to support audits and reconciliations
• Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and tax rules
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses and account research as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a three- or four-year college or university (Accounting, Finance, or related) preferred
• 0–1 years of relevant accounting experience (entry-level / early-career)
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and basic tax concepts
• Strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort with other Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work under limited supervision for routine situations and escalate non-routine issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Employment type: Full-time
• Estimated pay: $102,937 per year (estimated)
