What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for a data-curious Sr. Data Analyst to partner with operations leaders to improve crew planning, drive operational reliability, and deliver actionable analytics. You will translate complex data into clear insights and production-ready solutions that support executive and frontline decisions.
- Partner with crew planning teams (IFS and FOP) and cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Design and build executive-level and frontline dashboards using modern visualization tools
- Develop analytics solutions (models, forecasts, and reports) and operationalize them with scalable tools and processes
- Forecast operational metrics and integrate findings into planning and execution workflows
- Extract, clean, and blend data from multiple sources for analysis and model development
- Create executive presentations and present findings to business leadership
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-profile environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Proactively identify and escalate roadblocks, and lead efforts to remove them
- Ask thoughtful questions, share ideas, and contribute to a team-first culture focused on measurable impact
- Follow safety-conscious practices in all operational processes
Minimum Qualifications
To comply with U.S. hiring laws and ensure fair consideration, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in analysis, data visualization, or another quantitative role
- Experience with analytical tools such as SQL and Python, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong business acumen, statistical thinking, and proven problem-solving ability
- Experience communicating with stakeholders and delivering projects end-to-end
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce concise materials for senior leaders
- Able to perform under pressure, work both independently and in groups, and pay attention to detail
- Commitment to inclusive teamwork and respectful collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
These will make candidates more competitive but are not strict requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Decision Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or a related field — OR a master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Direct exposure to crew operations data (FOP/IFS) or operational planning workflows
- Practical experience with forecasting methods and time-series analysis
- Prior experience in an operational role supporting tactical execution and strategy
